OOPS! It's a criminal offence! Full trial for Gary McHale
Procedural error postpones McHale's trial The Hamilton Spectator (Nov 22, 2008) The trial of Caledonia activist Gary McHale has been delayed because of a procedural error by the prosecutor. McHale is charged with counselling to commit an illegal act, in this case, mischief. The charge stems from a Dec. 1, 2007 rally involving Caledonia and Six Nations residents which turned violent. McHale's trial started Thursday, but was halted yesterday after the error was brought to the court's attention. Assistant Crown attorney Mitchell Hoffman said the Crown had been proceeding summarily on the charge, which would have meant a less serious punishment if McHale was convicted. However, after discussing the issue with Ontario Court Justice Bernd Zabel, the court determined the charge was indictable, which means McHale could choose to have a preliminary hearing and a trial by judge and jury, or a trial by judge alone. Zabel told McHale he could take the weekend to decide how to proceed.

Haldimand: Election Humour The race in Haldimand-Norfolk is expected to be hotly contested as two high-profile figures fight it out in what could be a photo finish. The outcome has been further complicated by the candidacy of Gary McHale, a law-and-order activist (who doesn't even know what the law is!) who led protests against aboriginals in land-claim disputes in Caledonia and became nationally known because of it. He plans to run as an independent. Nightingale was expected to do well under the Green banner, raising questions of where his votes will now go. In a tight race, the support received by the smaller parties -- which also include Christian Heritage Party candidate Steven Elgersma of Dunnville -- could make the difference between winning or losing for either Finley or Hoskins. However, McHale said he shouldn't be counted out from the winner's circle. "I stand a good chance of winning. I honestly believe it." McHale plans to campaign in malls and at Tim Hortons restaurants across the riding where he can meet people face to face. Voters, he said, will be impressed with him once they "listen to what I have to say and not what the media has said about me." Copyright © 2008 Brantford Expositor Baloney. McHale is a racist moron. The most people EVER at a McHale event was 200-300, 3 of whom assaulted police, but since then it has dwindled to 10-15, and they still assault police. Everyone has already heard what McHale has to say because the media used to quote him ad nauseam to spice up their 'news' reports. However, McHale's day in the sun is over as many media will no longer report on his foolish behaviour. His days in court are not yet done, though! Can a candidate run when he is out on bail and still to be sentenced for a criminal offence? Can a man with a criminal record in the US run in an election in Canada? Can a man who has never done an honest days work in his lifetime get elected so he can live off the public instead of living off his 'supporter'? hahaha

Two Row Wampum Treaty

Two Row Wampum Treaty
"It is said that, each nation shall stay in their own vessels, and travel the river side by side. Further, it is said, that neither nation will try to steer the vessel of the other." This is a treaty among Indigenous Nations, and with Canada. This is the true nature of our relationships with Indigenous Nations of 'Kanata'.
