Six Nations, Caledonia Stirling St Revisited Review... http://news.infoshop.org/article.php?story=20070920135803120 So ... what really happened at Stirling St? WHO attacked whom? First the background: Sam and Joe Gualtieri were building a house for a family member in the new Stirling St. survey in Caledonia, which was under protest by Six Nations due to their unresolved land rights. When Six Nations people arrived that day, the police shut down the site and told all the builders to leave. Six Nations youth climbed the scaffolding and placed a flag on top of Gualtieris house. Sam Gualtieri was infuriated and climbed the scaffolding and removed the flag amidst harsh words for the protesters. The Gualtieris refused to leave the site as per police orders, and continued building. Later in the day, they left the house. From there, two scenarios exist: 1) Sam Gualtieri ran back into the house unarmed and was attacked by two Six Nations youth wielding a piece of oak. His brother Joe and two nephews came in, saw the attack, left him in that condition and ran back out to get 2x4's. This is the scenario posed by the Gualtieris. Specifically, Joe Gualtieri says he was not in the house to see the initial contact but arrived to see his brother Sam being attacked, and then he ran back out of the house. (???) 2) Six Nations people watching from nearby video'd the Gualtieris standing out back by their truck, watching the house. Sam armed himself with a piece of wood and ran into the house when he saw a youth entering (to put up a flag). He jammed the wood against the youths throat and held him against the wall. (The youth was 15 years old. He had abrasions on his adam's apple.) The second Six Nations youth entered, struggled with Sam to free the 15 year old and hit Sam with the/a piece of wood to stop the attack. Again, Joe Gualtieri claims he was not in the house to see the initial contact but only saw the Six Nations youth attack Sam. I am sure my conclusions are obvious: There is video of Sam Gualtieri arming himself with a piece of wood (handrail?). There are photos of the abrasions on the youth's neck where his adam's apple was almost crushed. Joe Gualtieri's story doesn't hold up. I strongly suspect he entered the house while Sam had the youth pinned against the wall, and isn't telling the truth about that.

Two Row Wampum Treaty

Two Row Wampum Treaty
"It is said that, each nation shall stay in their own vessels, and travel the river side by side. Further, it is said, that neither nation will try to steer the vessel of the other." This is a treaty among Indigenous Nations, and with Canada. This is the true nature of our relationships with Indigenous Nations of 'Kanata'.
